measures, including visual and lock integrity checks of every unit,
every day. High security barrelled locks are installed on many units
or are available for purchase if desired. |

Goods are not automatically insured when in storage.
Due to the high quality of our centres we have been
endorsed by the major insurance companies and offer insurance at
all our locations. Many of our competitors have been unable to reach
a similar standard and cannot offer insurance of your goods.
Kennards provides an easy and simple programme customers can participate in.
Insurance can be taken at just $1.50 per thousand dollars of value
per month (so, to insure goods worth $10 000, it will cost just
$15 per month). This insurance is structured in a pay-as-you-go
system so you only have to buy what you need, and automatically
renews when you pay.

In many of our centres, we have installed the
technology that enables our customers to enjoy 24 hour access. This
means that you do not have to manipulate your time to our hours when
you need access, you can come any time that suits you.
This is great if you are running a business and
need late and early access to serve your customers, or you are storing
personal effects and don't know when you might want to get your
electric blanket out of storage.

The EMU is a specially designed moving van that makes moving easy.
It is easy to load, easy to drive and available for hourly rental (no 4 hour minimum).
Don't wrestle loading your furniture and fight the traffic in a big clumsy truck anymore.

Complimentary Trailers

To help your move in to our centres we have complimentary
trailers for you to borrow. This innovation allows you to save money
during the expensive moving process.
The trailer is enclosed and designed with mesh interior for abundant tie points.
The trailer is supplied with padding blankets, strapping, and hand truck to make moving easier.

To assist you in your payments we have the
facilities available to take all the major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard,
Bankcard and American Express).
NO Credit Card surcharge - At Kennards using your credit card does not cost any extra.
In addition, we also offer our auto-pay service so you
don't have to worry about remembering to make your payment. This feature will automatically charge your credit card so you never have to remember to pay and also save time.
As part of Kennards Self Storage commitment
to quality we ensure there is an abundant supply and range of trolleys
for you to use. We have them specially designed and custom-made
to suit the needs of our customers.
For the commercial customer, we have forklifts and
pallet trucks available at our storage centres to help with the
handling and management of your stock and equipment.
The Self Storage Association of Australasia
(SSAA) aims to raise the standard of the Self Storage Industry through
education, communication and representation. The central ideals
that govern SSAA Members is to always operate in a fair, honest
