Kennards Self Storage is pleased to support The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) in their Share-a-Book program.
ALNF is a philanthropic organisation dedicated to raising language, literacy and numeracy standards in Australia and raises funds to develop, implement and sustain innovative projects for individuals, families and communities. ALNF’s programs span from early years learning through to adolescent and adult learning needs and address the needs of a diverse range of individuals and communities, including Indigenous, refugee and migrant communities. Kennards Donate Space to Footpath Library Initiative for the Homeless

When we were approached by Sarah Garnett to support her unique initiative, Kennards Self Storage was thrilled to be involved.
After the death of her young friend, Benjamin Andrew, Sarah Garnett decided to dedicate time as a volunteer. She was serving meals to the homeless in Sydney when she noticed a man reading under a street light. She then started to bring more books for them to read. The Benjamin Andrew Footpath Library has begun! (more…)

Riding for the Disabled

“Thank you Kennards Self Storage for your enormous efforts and generosity towards Riding for the Disabled- Ryde Centre”, says Robin Grindrod a volunteer of the Ryde RDA.
“It has made a huge difference in our ability to reserve funds to be used towards building our new centre and providing therapy to our riders. We are very close to our goal of turning the first sod at Marsfield Park but as always these things seem to take that much longer than had been anticipated. (more…)
KSS Onekawa N.Z. Supporting the Community

After an initial approach from Brooke Ibbotson the coordinator of the Napier Community Patrols, for Kennards Self Storage to Sponsor a couple of units for the patrol to store their vehicles in between patrol duties, we decided this was a great way to support the local community and also obtain some profile for KSS in the Onekawa and Napier area. Sydney Dogs and Cats Home

Tempe Kennards Self Storage for the last several months have been donating space to the Sydney Dogs & Cats Home which is an Animal Care Facility. Funding is generated by the support of donated goods from the public which are then sold to support the animal home. Kennards Self Storage at Tempe store these donated goods until they are sold. Sydney Dogs & Cats Home says “our goal is to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy, loving cats and dogs and find them new homes that last a lifetime”.
