Kennards Self Storage recently received an update from Cate Altamura the founder of HUG (Helping Ugandan Generations) telling us of the work being done in Uganda.
Cate says ” Just letting you know that I am back from Uganda after 3 months away. A bit longer than I expected to be away but there was so much to do! It was amazing handing out the donations to the children and the local community.
The Kennards boxes alone are much loved. I am told that they are used for storage, as suitcases, makeshift tables and the local teachers use the boxes to make flash cards and teaching materials. The school proudly showed me that they had put the last lot of boxes ( sent with last years donation) to good use. The cleverly made flash cards and posters out of the boxes. They were fantastic, i was so impressed.
Thank you again for all of your assistance with the boxes and storage space. Without your constant help, I would not be able to do the work I do in Uganda.”
