Why break your back when you are moving, there are many solutions we can assist with. There is a wide range of solutions available including, flatbed trolleys, mattress trolleys, pallet jacks, fully enclosed custom designed trailer with an inbuilt loading ramp. We also have extensive list of removalists recommended by our customers to share if you need that little bit of help.

Each of our teams have a thorough knowledge and experience with the local removalists. We prefer reputable professionals who illustrate care for their customers. To find one in your area simply speak with our team.
Hand Trucks & Trolleys
Available at no charge to help carry large and heavy items. You can even borrow our fridge trolley, and take it home overnight to help the move.
Box Shop
With 9 Retail Box Shops across New Zealand, each Kennards Self Storage Box Shop boasts a comprehensive range of cardboard boxes, moving supplies, packing supplies and security items.
We are open 7 days a week and offer everything needed for those who are packing, shipping, moving and/or storing personal items.
Complimentary Trailer
Our custom designed trailer is perfect for moving furniture and is available at no charge at our Tauranga and Hastings centres when you move-in to storage with us. So, if you have a tow ball on the car simply borrow our trailer to help move your goods.
The trailer is also available for general hire if you ever need one. The trailer comes ready-to-move with tie straps and blankets.
Moving checklist
4-6 Weeks to Moving Day
Confirm your moving date, book your removalist (if you need one) and organise you self storage.
Packing Yourself
Arrange boxes and packing materials, prepare an inventory of your items and begin packing those lesser used items.
2-3 Weeks to Moving Day
Set up change of address, discontinue delivery services and oraganise cleaning of you current and new homes.
1 Week to Moving Day
Set aside linen and your emergency items, plan for furniture placement and confirm all moving details with removalist.
The Day Before the Move
Defrost and empty out your refrigerator, pack some personal luggage items and prepare an action plan for moving day.
Moving Day
Provide Removalist with floor plans and parking information, check off all items as they go into the moving van and do your final check.
